Commodore turbo's are probably the best cars for adapting to the usual bolt on modifications. Pumping out 150kW with just 7psi and no intercooler, the potential for more power is amazing. Add an intercooler , exhaust and turn the boost up and 13 second quarters are easily achievable. The factory computer is still being used in plenty of 12 second street weapons. One Commodore has run 9.86 at 140mph at it's first meet. At the street drags in Melbourne, these cars easily out number any other turbo car there. The yellow example shown above is an ex-police pursuit car which also came in white, while the Calais is the luxury model distinctive with headlight covers.
